WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – Metro will close two stations on the red line for weekend track work.
WMATA say that starting Friday at 10 p.m. and continuing through Sunday, customers will need to take a free shuttle bus to travel between DuPont Circle and Van Ness stations. The Woodley Park and Cleveland Park stations will be closed. Any customers using the shuttle buses should give themselves an extra 20 minutes for travel.
Also, on Blue and Orange lines, trains will share a single track between Eastern Market and Stadium-Armory, so riders passing through these stations should allow themselves an extra 20 minutes as well. Orange line trains will also single track between East Falls Church and West Falls Church.
Yellow line trains will share a single track between Reagan National Airport and Braddock Road.
