WASHINGTON — Metro is warning customers planning to travel on the yellow and blue rail lines that their evening commute will be longer than expected.
Metro said Tuesday afternoon that a track problem was reported between the Braddock Road and Reagan National Airport stations and that until repairs are completed, blue and yellow line trains will share one track between those stations.

As of 4 p.m., Metro says its operations center was reporting delays of up to 45 minutes and that those delays could build.

Metro says that as a result of delayed yellow line trains, southbound green line trains may also encounter delays in the area of L’Enfant Plaza.
